Updated October 17, 2026.
RingConn originally announced FSA/HSA payment eligibility for RingConn Gen 2 through its partnership with Flex. That announcement made the eligible payment route available for the Gen 2 product offered at the time.
Current update: RingConn’s official HSA/FSA page now lists Gen 2, Gen 2 Air and Gen 3. Individual eligibility and documentation requirements apply. The historical launch announcement and today’s product eligibility should be read separately.

RingConn announced that eligible customers could use Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account funds for Gen 2 purchases through Flex. The original release described Gen 2 as the eligible product available through that program at the time.
The partnership and the Gen 2 launch context remain the point of this announcement. The original statement that only Gen 2 was eligible should not be treated as the current product list.
The Gen 2 product described in the release is a lightweight titanium-and-epoxy ring with sleep and everyday wellness tracking. Eligibility for a payment route does not change its general-wellness intended use.
| Model | Current official eligibility page | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Gen 2 | Listed through Flex | Individual requirements apply |
| Gen 2 Air | Listed through Flex | Individual requirements apply |
| Gen 3 | Listed through Flex | Individual requirements apply |
Some purchases may require a Letter of Medical Necessity. Check RingConn’s current HSA/FSA payment page and the Flex prompts before ordering.
Choose your ring health tracker according to its functions and fit. Do not assume that accessory-only orders, gift cards or every item in a cart has the same eligibility.
HSAs and health FSAs are tax-advantaged arrangements for eligible medical expenses, but their eligibility, contribution and spending rules differ. A potential tax benefit is not a universal product discount or a promise of reimbursement.
Unused HSA funds generally carry forward. Health FSA spending deadlines and any permitted grace period or carryover depend on the plan. Annual limits change, so use the applicable year’s official guidance instead of relying on historical figures in a launch announcement.
The IRS publication on HSAs and other health plans explains the general rules and recordkeeping. A merchant’s payment option does not replace those requirements.
At checkout, look for the Flex HSA/FSA option and follow its eligibility instructions. The current product page says accelerated-checkout users may need to choose “Pay another way” or guest checkout to see additional payment methods.
For an eligible direct purchase, enter the HSA/FSA card details and keep the itemized receipt and any required documentation. If an LMN is needed, follow the provider-reviewed process rather than assuming it is automatically issued.
The current page also describes a possible reimbursement route after paying with another card. Confirm the requirements in advance: reimbursement remains subject to the plan administrator’s rules and approval.
The Gen 3 health tracking ring adds vascular health trends and supported vibration reminders. Gen 2 and Gen 3 list sleep apnea pattern insights, while Gen 2 Air focuses on core tracking without that feature. Those distinctions are separate from payment eligibility.
If comparing a smart ring without subscription, review the included features and total purchase costs as well as the funding route. Potential tax savings should not be the sole reason to choose a device that does not fit your needs.
Keep the purchase date, receipt, eligibility documentation and claim outcome. Do not claim reimbursement for the same expense more than once. For order-process questions, RingConn lists cs@ringconn.com.
