The IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE ISCAS 2026) was successfully held at the Shanghai International Convention Center from May 24 to 27, 2026. As one of the world’s premier academic conferences in circuits and systems, the symposium convened leading scholars, researchers, and industry experts from around the world to exchange academic insights, foster international collaboration, and explore emerging directions in cutting-edge technologies. As a leading innovator in smart ring and wearable health technology, RingConn was once again invited to participate in IEEE ISCAS, further strengthening its engagement with the global academic community and showcasing its latest progress in wearable technology innovation and intelligent health solutions.
At this year's symposium, RingConn participated as a Gold Premium Sponsor, showcasing its lastest product RingConn Gen 3 Smart Ring and delivering keynote presentations at both the Industry Forum and the Connecting Academia and Industry CASS Workshop, receiving positive feedback from the attendees. This marks strong international recognition of RingConn's independent innovation in wearable technology, ultra-low-power integrated circuits, and interdisciplinary technological integration.

During his two presentations, Mr. Sze SiuFung (Keith), RingConn's Senior Director of Software R&D, shared how RingConn is combining hardware innovation, long-term continuous health data, AI-driven interpretation, personalized baseline modeling, and academia-industry collaboration to move wearable devices beyond basic health tracking. He pointed out that the next generation of wearable health technology should not be just simply displaying more data but helping users to better understand what changes in their body mean, providing clear and actionable recommendations, and continuously validating whether those adjustments are leading to meaningful improvement. Keith also emphasized that this approach allows AI to move beyond passive data analysis and play a more practical role in preventive health and long-term behavioral change.

In discussions with experts and scholars from all around the world, Professor Guoxing Wang, Chairman and Founder of RingConn, reflected on the company's technological journey since 2014. He highlighted RingConn's long-standing commitment to proprietary innovation and scientific excellence, as well as its determination to seek systematic breakthroughs by rethinking conventional engineering constraints. For example, while the industry has widely regarded ultra-low-power integrated circuit efficiency as reaching its physical limits, RingConn shifted approach, achieving generational improvements in both energy efficiency and performance from RingConn Gen 1 through RingConn Gen 3.
"True technological innovation requires not only the patience of long-term commitment, but also the courage to challenge existing frameworks," said Professor Wang. "It also requires the Eastern philosophical mindset of pursuing integrated optimization rather than maximizing individual components. RingConn's success comes from a system-level approach that jointly optimizes circuits, algorithms, and device design, enabling the creation of the world's thinnest smart ring with the longest battery life in the industry."
Over the four-day symposium, RingConn received collaboration invitations from institutions and universities across multiple regions worldwide. Moving forward, RingConn will continue working closely with global academic and industry partners to deepen academia-industry integration and expand the frontiers of technological innovation.
