We may invite selected website visitors to participate in optional on-site surveys. These surveys help us understand why visitors may not add products to their cart or complete a purchase, identify issues relating to product information, website navigation, product understanding, visual presentation, payment or customer support, understand visitors’ general purchase stage, and identify improvements that may support informed purchase decisions. Participation is voluntary, and declining a survey will not affect your use of the website.
We use Zigpoll, a survey platform provided by Argonautic Labs LLC, to display and administer surveys and analyze responses. Depending on how the survey is configured and how you interact with it, we and Zigpoll may collect or receive
- your survey responses, including any optional free-text response
- a unique cookie or similar survey identifier
- your IP address and approximate country, region and city derived from it
- device, operating system and browser information
- timestamps, survey interactions and engagement metrics; and
- limited survey context, where configured, such as the page or product viewed and whether a product was added to the cart.
We use this information to operate the survey, remember whether it has been dismissed or completed, limit how often it is displayed, prevent duplicate or abusive responses, analyze shopping barriers and preferences, and improve our website, product information, checkout process and customer support. Zigpoll processes this information on our behalf as a service provider and data processor and may use contracted subprocessors to provide hosting, security, analytics and related technical services.
Where required by applicable law, Zigpoll’s non-essential cookies and similar technologies will not be activated unless you provide consent. You may withdraw your consent for their future use at any time through our Cookie Settings. For visitors in the EEA and United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interests in understanding shopping barriers and improving our website and services to analyze ordinary survey responses.
Please do not include your own or anyone else’s name, contact details, health information, payment card information, government-issued identifiers, or any other sensitive information in your response.
We do not sell survey responses or associated technical information, share them for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use them for targeted advertising. Further information about Zigpoll’s data practices is available in its Terms and Policies and DPA.
This Privacy Note supplements and should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Our Website Privacy Policy provides further information about the identity and contact details of the data controller, how we collect, use, disclose, retain, protect and transfer personal information, the legal bases on which we rely, your data protection rights and choices, and how to contact us or lodge a complaint. Those provisions also apply to the survey information described in this Privacy Note.
