RingConn V4.3.0 Is Here! | Thoughtful Details for a Smoother Experience

RingConn V4.3.0 brings thoughtful improvements across activity management, Gen 3 vibration feedback, and sleep editing, making the everyday smart ring experience smoother and easier to review.

🎉  V4.3.0 Update Highlights
  • 🏃  Activity Management: The new 「Exercise Summary」 card will give you an at-a-glance look at your performance, while 「Exercise Records」 gains filters by month and type for faster review of past goals.
  • 📳  Vibration Alerts (Gen 3 available): Your ring will vibrate when you manually start an exercise, when a heart rate or blood oxygen measurement finishes, and when a blood pressure assessment completes — more tangible feedback, less screen-checking.
  • 😴  Sleep Management: Editing your sleep and wake times will get smoother, with a new number-scrolling picker joining the existing methods.

Available on: All other features will work across every RingConn model. Vibration alerts are limited to Gen 3.

What's in This Update

1. Activity Management

1.1 New「Exercise Summary」— Your Performance at a Glance

Want to see how many exercise sessions you've logged this week, this month, or this year — and how many calories you've burned? For users who use RingConn as a fitness ring, the new Exercise Summary card pulls it all together: exercise sessions, total duration, calories burned, and a bar chart for visual context.

  • Switch between week, month, and year at the top — see your progress over your chosen period
  • Filter by Exercise Type — Tap 'All Exercise Types' to focus on a single activity
  • Also visible in the Wellness Summary for quick reference

Data sources: manually added sessions, manually started exercises, auto-detected exercises, and sessions imported from Apple Health / Health Connect.

Tip: After wearing the ring during an exercise, open the app within 48 hours to sync your data — otherwise the exercise record may be lost.

How to View the 'Exercise Summary'

Steps: 'Discover' tab → 'Exercise card' → 'Exercise Summary' card

How to View a Specific Exercise Type (e.g., Cycling)

Steps: Tap the 'All Exercise Types' button → Select 'Cycling' → Tap 'Confirm'

1.2 「Exercise Records」 Filters — Find Past Sessions Faster

No more endless scrolling. Once you update to V4.3.0, Exercise Records will let you filter by both month and exercise type at the same time, so you can find any past session in seconds. This makes it easier to review how your health tracking ring data connects with individual exercise sessions over time.

Path: 'Discover' tab → 'Exercise' card → scroll down to 'Exercise Records' card → 'View all' → use the month and exercise type filters at the top

2. Vibrations (Gen 3 Only)

New Vibration Feedback for Manual Scenarios — Feel the Feedback

With V4.3.0, the RingConn Gen 3 smart health ring adds vibration feedback in several manually initiated scenarios, giving you more tangible confirmation without requiring constant screen-checking.

Once you update to V4.3.0, your ring will vibrate in the following situations:

  • Starting an exercise manually: Vibrates when the countdown hits 1 — the moment your exercise starts
  • Heart Rate/Blood Oxygen Measurement: Vibrates when the measurement is complete — no need to keep your eyes on the screen
  • Blood Pressure Assessment: Vibrates when the assessment is done (covers both initial calibration and ongoing assessments)

Note: These new vibration alerts will be on by default once you update to V4.3.0 regardless of your notification settings. For vibrations to work properly, make sure your ring's battery is above 20%, and Bluetooth is connected. If you exit the app during the exercise countdown or measurement, the vibration will not trigger.

3. Sleep Management

New Number-Scrolling Editor — Adjust Sleep Time With Ease

For users who rely on RingConn as a sleep tracking ring, adjusting the time you fell asleep or woke up just got more intuitive. Once you update to V4.3.0, you can tap the time field, then scroll the numbers up or down to set the exact time you want.

Path: 'Insights' tab → 'Sleep' card → 'Sleep Details' card → 'Edit' → 'Edit Sleep' page → tap the time field → scroll to select the time → 'Confirm'

FAQ

Q1: Where can I find my Exercise Summary?

Go to the Discover tab → Exercise card → Exercise Summary card. You can view your total distance, exercise sessions, total duration, and calories burned, broken down by week, month, or year, and filterable by a specific exercise type.

Q2: Why is 'Total Distance' missing from my Exercise Summary?

'Total Distance' only shows exercise types that record distance. If your selected exercise type (e.g., yoga or strength training) has no distance data in your history, this metric won't appear.

Q3: When does the ring vibrate during heart rate/blood oxygen measurement and blood pressure check?

The ring vibrates when the measurement is complete, not during the measurement. If you exit the app before the measurement finishes, no vibration will trigger.

Q4: Can I edit my sleep time? What methods are available?

Yes. Steps: Insights tab → Sleep card → Sleep Details → tap 'Edit' to open the Sleep Edit page. Three methods are supported: drag the handle, tap the ‘➕’ and ‘➖’ buttons, or tap the time field and scroll the numbers (new in V4.3.0).
