Product Protection Overview

Thank you for choosing the Product Protection Plan. Before purchasing this Product Protection Plan, please review the following terms and conditions ("the Terms"), which set forth your rights and obligations. You confirm that you have purchased the Product Protection Plan only after fully reading, understanding, and agreeing to all the Terms. If you do not accept or have objections to the Terms, please stop the purchase process immediately.

1. Service Description

1.1 About the Product Protection Plan
The Product Protection Plan is a service offered by RingConn and Seel. This Product Protection Plan provides coverage for accidental damage, defects in materials or workmanship, helping you save on repair or replacement costs.

1.2 Scope of Application
(a) This Product Protection Plan covers the following device: RingConn Gen 2 Air、Gen 3.
(b) This Plan applies exclusively to orders placed within the 50 states of the United States and the District of Columbia.
(c) This Product Protection Plan applies only to the main unit of your RingConn Smart Ring. It does not cover accessories, including but not limited to charging docks, charging cases, and charging cables.
(d) This Product Protection Plan is not intended for commercial use. You may not use this Plan for any personal benefit, including but not limited to filing claims for devices owned by third parties that are not covered by this Plan. You may not sell or transfer any rights under this Plan. Any breach of this provision may result in immediate termination of this Plan.

1.3 Purchase Rules
(a) This Product Protection Plan may only be purchased on the order page for the applicable product in the applicable sales region by selecting the "Add Product Protection" option.
(b) This Product Protection Plan must be purchased together with a brand-new product directly from www.ringconn.com at checkout. It may not be purchased separately after the product has been shipped. Ringconn products purchased outside of ringconn.com are not eligible for the Product Protection Plan.

2.Overview of Coverage Content

2.1 What is Covered
The Product Protection Plan covers both "Accidental Damage Protection" and "Product Quality Protection" scenarios:
(a) Accidental Damage Protection
The Product Protection Plan covers the following situations in which the ring is damaged due to an accident:
✅ Drops, accidental water ingress, and liquid spills.
✅ Accidental damage from handling.

(b) Product Quality Protection
The Product Protection Plan covers the following quality-related issues:
✅ Hardware failure.
✅ Inner machinery failure.
✅ Mechanical or electrical breakdown.
✅ Defects in materials and workmanship.

2.2 What is Not Covered
Unless expressly provided otherwise in these Terms, the following situations are not covered by this Product Protection Plan:
❌ Pre-existing damage that occurred prior to the effective date.
❌ Loss or Theft.
❌ Damage caused by misuse or abuse
❌ Consumable parts. (e.g.chargers)

2.3 Coverage Period
(a) Users who have purchased "2 Year Product Protection" will receive an additional 1-year extended warranty coverage and 2 years of accidental damage protection. This means you will receive coverage for accidental damage and product quality issues for 2 years (730 calendar days) from the date of purchase.

(b) Users who have purchased "3 Year Product Protection" will receive an additional 2-year extended warranty coverage and 3 years of accidental damage protection. This means you will receive coverage for accidental damage and product quality issues for 3 years (1,095 calendar days) from the date of purchase.

(c) The maximum compensation amount shall be the actual amount paid for the covered product (excluding tax, shipping costs, handling fees, any other third party fees, and the cost of the Product Protection Plan).

3.Claims Guide

3.1 Claim Process for Accidental Damage
Subject to the other provisions of these Terms, Seel shall be responsible for compensation for confirmed accidental damage covered under the Product Protection Plan during the coverage period. If the claim meets the compensation conditions, compensation shall be provided up to the actual amount paid for the covered product, excluding tax, shipping costs, handling fees, any other third party fees, and the cost of the Product Protection Plan. The claim process for accidental damage is as follows:
(a) Log in to the Seel Resolution Center (https://resolve.seel.com) using the email address and the order number or protection id used when placing the order.
(b) Submit information by following the prompts.
(c) Select the product(s), upload required documents.
(d) Wait for Seel's review.

3.2 Claim Process for Product Quality Issues
(a) During the first year (365 days) of the Product Protection Plan, RingConn shall be responsible for product quality issues. The process is as follows:
  • Please email the details of the product malfunction, proof of purchase, and the ring's serial number (SN) to cs@ringconn.com. (To find the SN: "Me" > "Ring Settings" > "Serial Number")
  • The RingConn support team will get back to you within 24 hours.
  • If RingConn confirms the issue is a product quality issue, we will provide a prepaid shipping label. You can return the original device according to the instructions.
  • At the same time, RingConn will arrange to ship the new smart ring for you.
(b) After the expiration of the 1-year (365-day) standard product warranty period and within the coverage period of the Product Protection Plan, Seel shall be responsible for compensation for confirmed product quality issues covered by the plan. If the claim meets the compensation conditions, compensation shall be provided up to the actual amount paid for the covered product, excluding tax, shipping costs, handling fees, any other third party fees, and the cost of the Product Protection Plan.
The claims process for product quality issues is as follows:
  • Log in to the Seel Resolution Center (https://resolve.seel.com) using the email address and the order number or protection id used when placing the order.
  • Submit information by following the prompts.
  • Select the product(s), upload the required documents.
  • Wait for Seel's review.

4.Contract Cancellation

4.1 Order Cancellation
If your order is canceled, the cost of the Product Protection Plan will be fully refunded. If you choose to return the item or cancel the Product Protection Plan, Seel will issue a pro-rata refund based on the time elapsed since the purchase date, minus any claims that have already been paid.

4.2 Termination of Coverage
This Product Protection Plan shall terminate when any of the following circumstances occur:
• The term specified in the Product Protection Plan expires;
• After the limit of the total compensation amount has been fully exhausted;
• Order cancellation or return causes the plan to become invalid;
User fraud, misrepresentation, or material breach of contract;
You voluntarily request to withdraw from the Product Protection Plan, and RingConn confirms the withdrawal.

5.Responsibility Allocation

5.1 Your Obligations
By obtaining the Product Protection Plan under these Terms, you agree to:
(a) Keep your order information, email address, serial number, and relevant proof of purchase safe.
(b) Provide the original proof of purchase for the Product Protection Plan.
(c) Provide information about any problems or malfunctions with the covered device.
(d) Cooperate with inspections, provide additional materials, return the device when required, or otherwise assist as needed.
(e) Submitting false claims or intentionally damaging products is prohibited, as it is illegal and is considered fraud.

5.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RingConn, its employees and agents shall not be liable to you or any subsequent owner of the Covered Device for indirect or consequential damages, including (but not limited to) costs of program/data recovery/duplication, losses from failed data confidentiality, or losses of business, profits, revenue or anticipated savings resulting from RingConns performance of obligations under this Plan.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of RingConn, its employees and agents to you and any subsequent owner under this Contract shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Contract.
The protection benefits hereunder do not affect your other rights and remedies under consumer protection laws. Where applicable laws allow liability limitation, RingConn’s liability shall, at its sole discretion, be limited to providing replacement services for the Covered Device.

6.Amendment to Contract Terms and Conditions

RingConn reserves the right to amend or adjust this Contract at its discretion. Any such amendment or adjustment shall be posted on the relevant page of the Product Protection Plan. Upon posting and taking effect, the revised terms and conditions shall apply to the services provided after the effective date of such posting.
