RingConn Gen 3 Gift Card Redemption Terms

KEY PROVISIONS AT A GLANCE

Purchasing a Gift Card constitutes agreement to these Redemption Terms.
Redemption should be completed within twelve (12) months from receipt of the Gift Card; the redemption code remains valid for five (5) years from issuance.
Zero-value checkout is a fulfillment process only; no new sales contract is formed at redemption.
If the redemption code has BEEN USED: the Gift Card is non-refundable.
If the redemption code is UNUSED: Purchaser may request refund after code deactivation (irreversible).
Color and size selections are final upon order confirmation; no returns for change of mind.

1. Definitions

"Gift Card": The RingConn Gen 3 Gift Card package, including one (1) Sizing Kit and one (1) Redemption Card, sold on ringconn.com.

"Redemption Card": The physical card included in the Gift Card package containing a unique redemption code (QR code) and serial number.

"Purchaser": The individual who purchased the Gift Card on ringconn.com.

"Recipient": The individual who receives the Gift Card and submits the redemption request.

"Redemption Period": Five (5) years from the date of issuance to the Purchaser. RingConn recommends that the Recipient redeem the Gift Card within twelve (12) months of receipt for optimal product availability and support.

"Available Colors": Brushed Silver, Brushed Rose Gold, Future Silver, Royal Gold, and Matte Black, subject to stock availability.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a Gift Card on ringconn.com, the Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the Gift Card is subject to these Redemption Terms. By submitting a redemption request, the Recipient agrees to be bound by these terms, together with the RingConn Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Applicable Agreements").

(1) The Recipient must check all mandatory agreement checkboxes (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and these Redemption Terms) before completing the redemption.

(2) The redemption submit button will remain disabled until all required agreements are accepted.

(3) RingConn reserves the right to refuse redemption from any user who does not accept all Applicable Agreements.

3. Eligibility

(1) The Recipient must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence.

(2) Each Redemption Card may only be redeemed once. The redemption code becomes invalid immediately upon successful redemption and cannot be reused.

(3) The Recipient must complete the sizing process using the included Sizing Kit before submitting the redemption request.

(4) Redemption is limited to one (1) ring per Redemption Card.

(5) RingConn recommends that the Recipient redeem the Gift Card within twelve (12) months of receipt for optimal product availability and support. The redemption code remains valid for five (5) years from the date of issuance to the Purchaser, in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws. Codes that exceed the five-year validity period will not be honored without express written consent from RingConn..

4. Data Processing Notice

GDPR / CCPA COMPLIANCE

The redemption process requires the collection and processing of the following information:

• Contact Information: email address, shipping address, and recipient name (for order fulfillment).

• Redemption Credentials: redemption code and serial number (for eligibility verification).

• Product Preferences: ring color and size selection (for product personalization).

This information is processed in accordance with the RingConn Privacy Policy. By submitting a redemption request, you consent to such processing.

For EEA/UK users: The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (performance of a contract). This data is necessary to fulfill your redemption request and cannot be omitted.

For California residents: Personal information is collected and processed in accordance with the CCPA/CPRA. RingConn does not sell or share redemption data for targeted advertising purposes.

5. Redemption Process

(1) The Recipient shall visit the designated Gen 3 redemption page on ringconn.com by scanning the QR code on the Redemption Card or entering the provided URL.

(2) The Recipient shall enter: (a) the redemption code; (b) the serial number; (c) a valid email address; (d) preferred ring color and size from the Available Colors.

(3) Upon submission, the Recipient will be directed to a checkout page to provide shipping information. No payment is required. Order validation is performed exclusively through verification of the redemption code and serial number.

(4) Upon successful verification, RingConn will generate a product order and send an order confirmation to the provided email address.

(5) The Gift Card shall be deemed fully consumed upon order confirmation. No refund, return, or cancellation of the Gift Card shall be permitted after redemption, except as provided in Section 8.

(6) RingConn reserves the right to refuse or cancel any redemption request where the redemption code is invalid, expired, previously used, or associated with fraudulent activity.

6. Nature of Redemption Order

The Recipient acknowledges and agrees that:

(1) The zero-value checkout during redemption is solely a fulfillment process for the Gift Card previously purchased by the Purchaser.

(2) No new sales contract is formed between the Recipient and RingConn at the time of redemption.

(3) The redemption constitutes the Purchaser's exercise of the right to obtain the product embodied in the Gift Card.

(4) Once the redemption code is validated and the ring order is confirmed, the Gift Card is fully consumed and the underlying purchase transaction between the Purchaser and RingConn is deemed complete.

7. Shipping & Delivery

(1) Standard shipping is included at no additional charge for delivery to supported destinations.

(2) Delivery timeframes are estimates only. RingConn is not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers, or force majeure events.

(3) Risk of loss and title pass to the Recipient upon delivery to the carrier.

(4) The Recipient is responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. RingConn is not liable for non-delivery due to incorrect address details.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

8.1 Size and Colo Exchanges

(1) The Recipient may request a one-time size and color exchange within fourteen (14) days of delivery, subject to size and color availability.

(2) The original ring must be returned in unused condition (meaning: no physical wear, no APP activation record, and with original packaging and accessories complete). RingConn will ship the replacement after receipt and inspection.

8.2 Defective Products

(1) If the received ring has a manufacturing defect, the Recipient must contact customer support within fourteen (14) days of delivery.

(2) Defect claims are subject to verification. The defective item must be returned before a replacement is shipped.

8.3 Purchaser Refund (Pre-Redemption)

The following refund rules apply to the Purchaser before the Redemption Card has been redeemed:

REFUND ELIGIBILITY: A refund is available ONLY if the redemption code has NOT been used. If the code has been redeemed, NO refund will be issued for the Gift Card.

(1) The Purchaser contacts RingConn customer support and provides the redemption code.

(2) RingConn verifies the redemption code status:

• If the code is UNUSED: RingConn deactivates the code and processes the refund. Code deactivation is IRREVERSIBLE.

• If the code has BEEN USED: Refund request is DENIED. The Gift Card has been consumed.

(3) The Sizing Kit is non-returnable and non-refundable under all circumstances.

8.4 Post-Redemption Policy

(1) Once a Redemption Card has been redeemed and the ring order confirmed, the Gift Card is deemed fully consumed.

(2) NO refund, return, or cancellation of the Gift Card is permitted after redemption, except for manufacturing defects under Section 8.3.

(3) The standard RingConn Return Policy applies to the physical ring product only, not to the Gift Card itself.

9. Redemption Code Rules

(1) Each redemption code is unique, single-use, and non-transferable after redemption.

(2) The redemption code may be transferred to another individual BEFORE redemption. The transferee becomes the Recipient.

(3) RingConn is not responsible for lost or stolen Redemption Cards or redemption codes.

(4) If a refund is processed for an unused code, the code is permanently deactivated and cannot be reactivated or reused.

(5) Cancelled or refunded Gift Cards cannot be reactivated; the associated Sizing Kit cannot be reused for another redemption.

(6) The Gift Card is for single-use only and must be applied to one (1) order in full. No partial redemption, account balance, or cash back is provided. Any unused portion of the Gift Card value cannot be refunded or transferred.

10. Product Lifecycle (End-of-Life)

The RingConn Gen 3 Smart Ring is subject to the End-of-Life (EOL) policy principles described in Section 19 of the Terms of Service, including:

• A minimum of six (6) months' advance notice of the End-of-Sale (EOM) date;

• Five (5) years of customer support services from the date of cessation of sales;

• Hardware repair and spare parts replacement services during the support period;

• Software maintenance and security patch services per the EOL policy schedule.

If the Gen 3 Smart Ring reaches End-of-Sale (EOM) during the Gift Card validity period, RingConn will honor redemptions in accordance with the EOL policy support timeline or offer a comparable alternative product at no additional charge.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RINGCONN'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE GIFT CARD REDEMPTION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE GIFT CARD (USD $369). RINGCONN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

12. Modifications

RingConn reserves the right to modify these Redemption Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to the redemption page. Redemptions submitted before the effective date are governed by the terms in effect at the time of submission.

13. Governing Law

These Redemption Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
