RingConn battery life depends on the model, size, settings and use. Current published ranges are up to 10 days for Gen 2 Air, 10–12 days for Gen 2, and 10–12 days with vibration on or 11–14 days with it off for Gen 3.
Those figures describe time between ring charges. They are different from a charging case’s reserve power and from the battery’s lifespan in years.

| Model | Published ring runtime | Condition to check |
|---|---|---|
| Gen 2 Air | Up to 10 days | Usage and configuration |
| Gen 2 | 10–12 days | Size 6–7: up to 10; 8–11: up to 11; 12–14: up to 12 days |
| Gen 3 | 10–12 days vibration on; 11–14 off | Vibration setting, size and usage |
The Gen 2 FAQ notes that sleep apnea monitoring can increase power consumption because it monitors more frequently. Compare your enabled features with the conditions of the quoted range.
For a health tracking ring, the highest published number is a reference, not a promise that every user will reach it. It also does not establish a fixed battery lifespan after one year or several years.
A change in settings, more frequent monitoring, incomplete charging or an issue with the device can all be relevant checks. A fast drain alone does not prove which one is responsible.
Compare like with like: the same ring, enabled features, starting charge and period of use. Record when you charged it, the displayed level and when it became low. Note whether the change began after an update or a settings change.
Do not assume that turning off phone Bluetooth will deliver a specific extra runtime. Likewise, this guide does not promise one or two extra days from a universal charging trick.
Gen 2 comes with a size-specific wireless charging case. Gen 3 comes with a universal wireless case, while Gen 2 Air includes a wired dock. A case stores energy for repeated ring charges; it does not keep the ring running for months without recharging the ring itself.
The current Gen 3 and Gen 2 pages list approximately 90 minutes to fully charge the ring. Gen 3 separately lists about 120 minutes to recharge its case. Keep ring charging time separate from case charging time.
If you are comparing a long battery life smartwatch with a ring, compare device runtime under the features you plan to use—not a ring’s charging-case reserve against a watch’s single charge.
Do not repeatedly deep-discharge the battery, add arbitrary extra charging time or open the ring as a diagnostic experiment. Follow model-specific instructions from support for resets and further checks.
For RingConn battery replacement or warranty questions, ask support to assess the device and applicable terms. Do not assume a user-replaceable battery or a guaranteed free replacement. If your sleep tracking ring is running low, charge before the night rather than planning around the maximum advertised range.
Its FAQ lists up to 10–12 days depending on size. Sleep apnea monitoring may increase power consumption.
Check charge completion, accessory power, enabled features and recent changes. Keep a simple charge record and contact support if the issue persists.
No. Charging-case reserve power refers to repeated recharging. Ring-only runtime is a separate specification.
Do not open the ring or attempt a battery repair. Ask official support about assessment and the options available for your device.
There is no universal amount of decline that this guide can assign to every ring. A persistent or sudden change should be assessed in its actual conditions.
