RingConn: Quick Start Guide
If you're considering RingConn or have already purchased a RingConn Smart Ring, this article is for you. We'll cover the following topics:
  • How to choose the right size
  • How to wear the ring correctly
  • How to maintain your ring
  • What to do if you can't remove the ring

How to Choose the Right Size?

We offer 9 sizes: 6 to 14. When you order from ringconn.com, we will send you a free sizing kit to determine your size. Upon receiving the sizing kit:

  • Step 1: Choose a suitable size from the kit.
  • Step 2: Wear it for at least 24 hours (recommended).
  • Step 3: If you experience no discomfort, update your size on our website.

If you already know your US or EU ring size, you can refer to our size chart. However, we recommend using the sizing kit for the most accurate fit.

How to Wear the Ring?

1. Identify the top and bottom of the ring.

The side with raised parts is the bottom. Ensure the raised parts are snug against the base of your finger. If the ring rotates, it should be within 30 degrees to ensure accurate data.

2. Which hand/finger should I wear?

  • Every finger is okay and we recommend you wear it in the middle three finger.
  • It doesn't significantly impact data whether you wear it on your left or right hand. However, we recommend wearing it on your non-dominant hand to reduce friction with other objects.

How to Maintain Your Ring

  1. After washing your hands or exposing the ring to water, dry the ring and your hand thoroughly.
  2. If the ring surface gets oily or dirty, clean it with a tissue.
  3. If you do not use the ring for an extended period, store it in the charging case and regularly charge the case.

What to Do If You Can't Remove the Ring

Throughout the day, your finger size may change, and sometimes the ring may be difficult to remove. If you encounter this issue, try the following methods:

  1. Use mild soap or cold water to wet your finger, then gently twist and pull the ring off.
  2. Raise your hand above your heart level until blood pressure lowers, then attempt to remove the ring.
  3. If you experience severe discomfort or cannot remove the ring, seek medical assistance immediately.

If a medical professional needs to cut the ring, please consider the following guidelines:

With the bottom of the ring facing down, locate and mark the thinnest points on both sides (at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock). Use professional equipment to make the cuts at the marked points. Caution: Do not cut the upper area as it contains the battery.

Note: The above guidelines are for reference only and should be performed by trained medical professionals using appropriate tools. Cutting the ring without proper expertise may cause injury and is not recommended for self-attempt.
