Settlement resolves all outstanding patent disputes and establishes a royalty-based licensing structure
SHENZHEN & SAN FRANCISCO – October 21, 2025 – ŌURA, maker of the world’s leading smart ring and RingConn today announced a comprehensive settlement and patent license agreement. This agreement resolves all outstanding patent disputes between the companies in the United States. Under the terms, ŌURA has granted RingConn a multi-year license to continue offering RingConn smart rings and their companion app, with RingConn making royalty payments to ŌURA. The terms of the agreement are confidential between the parties.

As part of the agreement, ŌURA will dismiss its legal claims against RingConn related to patents covering the unique design of Oura Ring. Both companies remain committed to advancing wearable technology and empowering users with meaningful health data.
